St Johns Classical Academy began a new chapter in it’s history today with a formal groundbreaking ceremony for a new school building in Fleming Island. St. Johns Classical Academy is a tuition free public school in the Fleming Island area of Clay County Florida.
The 50,000 square-foot building will be completed in time for the start of the 2018 fall school year, when SJCA will officially open the Fleming Island School. It will be the first new facility for SJCA.
The building will contain classrooms, faculty offices, Science laboratories, a computer lab, a multi purpose cafetorium, a student lounge and other learning spaces. This new structure is central to SJCA’s growth in Clay County.
Summit Construction is proud to have provided Site Selection, Property Acquisition, Financing, Entitlement, Design, Permitting, and Construction services to SJCA for this project.
SJCA is partnered with the Barney Charter School Initiative of Hillsdale College and offers a high-quality, private school education at no cost to students. More information can be found at www.stjac.org
